Buenos Aires, December 5 (NA) -- Ahead of what will be the year's final qualifying session, and after beginning to prepare the car in the first two free practice sessions, Franco Colapinto will face the third free practice and qualifying of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, seeking to close the season in the best possible way. According to the Argentine News Agency, the Argentine finished tenth in the first practice, just 370 thousandths behind Englishman Lando Norris, the session and World Championship leader, while in the second he was second to last, with two tenths of an advantage over his teammate, Pierre Gasly. With the aim of giving the best possible closure to a very complicated season, with a car that is not at a level to fight for points, Colapinto will be the protagonist of the last Formula 1 race with a Renault engine, which debuted in the top category in 1977 and has had three cycles: from that year to 1986, from 1989 to 1997 and from 2001 to the present.
